They ask so much of us. Every waking moment (and sleeping one too!) is a testimony of our love– whether we are working to support them, cleaning to provide a home for them, cooking to provide nourishment for them or spending time growing and learning with them. We give it all to them and sometimes through our exhaustion it helps to remember why we do it. We do it for love and we do it because there is no such thing as a small act of compassion. Each moment we gift them sends a ripple that grows and affects in their lives and into our greater world. I promise.

I just had to tell you that that it a stunning picture. My little boy loves trains and this guy in the picture is concentrating pretty hard, just like I’ve seen so many times.
