The very same thing has happened to me so many times over picked flowers~ I always have to remind myself that my little boys don’t know how to discriminate what flowers mama *thinks* it’s okay to pick and which are not! They just know mamas likes flowers!

Little 2 year old Roan and I often go in our yard and greet all the new flowers that have come up. Two days ago he picked a little bouquet for me…and I did feel disappointed, but managed to can it this time! Thank you for the reminders on why I should can it all the time!

I love this. I have so been there, watching my child pick a flower that hadn't bloomed or a berry that hadn't ripened. It makes my heart sink, but it's also very sweet in its way.
