You need to be scraped and painted.
We want to re-roof you with reclaimed slate shingles.
We want to build a bicycle shed with a living roof in the backyard.
We want to build a bridge from our back porch to the bicycle shed roof so we can pick the strawberries that grow there.
You need rain barrels and a newly designed compost system.
You need the front space redesigned so it’s a child-friendly space to play.
We need to rip up the sidewalk and replace with brick or local bluestone.
We need to re-do the plumbing on our claw foot tub.
We need build a stand for a repurposed bathroom sink.
We need to ditch the broken dishwasher and install a reclaimed farmhouse sink.
We want to retile the kitchen counters with eco-friendly tile.
We want to rebuild the back porch making it a functional mud room.
You need a couch that fits your tiny living space and a few more vintage bureaus to hold our clothes in style.
We want to rip up the rug in the loft/sleeping area and put down old reclaimed barn flooring.
We want, you need, we need…..
I trust that one step at a time, with ease and wonder the world will unfold to provide our needs. And just as one want is fulfilled, another arises and like the waves that continually surge from the sea, so will our life be continually filled with needs and wants. It is endless and infinite and the beauty of it all.

I’m so jealous! Your house is so beautiful! Makes me dislike this city even more. Why in the world anyone thought these cookie cutter stucco tracks was a good idea…
All of your plans sound so wonderful. I can’t wait to see that bicycle shed with a strawberry field on top. ;)
