I’ve been working on a post about living in a small house and I wasn’t able to pull it together for today. There is so much I want to say about our experience of living as a family in 750 square feet and I haven’t been able to organize my thoughts succinctly enough to share yet.
Plus, remember this little incident? Most of my “before” house pics (which are priceless!) were on that computer and backed up on a hard drive that I now can’t seem to get to boot on my new computer. My daily question has become whether I want to spend hours doing tech support or maybe I should…..
……sew curtains!
I’ve been wanting to hang curtains for a long time and there is something about this baby coming that pushed me over the edge. Maybe it’s the feeling of wanting more privacy as I get ready to birth or wanting to feel extra lovey in my home space. Or maybe it’s because I know things like sewing are about to get put on the back burner for quite a while–such is life with a newborn!

I become a sewing machine in late pregnancy. I know that everyone’s different, but for me nesting is very, very real.
I love the curtains!

Thanks! For some weird reason I’ve never really nested before. Maybe because this is the first time we’ve had a baby in our very own home so I’m feeling like it’s fast forwarding me to actually do all those things I always want to do–like curtains ;)
Love the curtains and the new header! Can’t wait to read about your small space. I’m finding it enjoyable to have such a small space (well, most days). I can’t imagine going back!

Thanks Tara. I’ve been thinking of you and small spaces lately :)
Love the curtains. Please let me know if there is anything you need in the next few weeks. I will be in Ithaca at least once a week from now on out, maybe more frequently.
