I've been working on electronic stuff too - blog, time spent, etc.

But most of my learning has been more personal/spiritual and is still beyond articulation at this point (which seems to be a perpetual thing with that subject lately). Just to much to get out of my head and into words I guess!

Learning a lot about chickens too. ;) And tonight I'm gonna learn how to make egg noodles for our beef stroganoff! Yum!!

Erin, I've always loved hearing about your dreams of a cottage school and I hear you on those uncomfortable feelings! For me, that is always what seems to push me to make new changes. You've always been an inspiration for me, my friend, asking me to step up, lighting the path ahead of me. Thanks for all your support :-)

Alisha, Isn't that book great. I keep it around and read it in pieces when inspired. A thought that brings me great comfort is the idea that by default I am my true self; that it's actually easier to be find me than to not be me. I think I just made that sound confusing! lol! I'm excited to see what creative endeavors you cook up!

David, Ah David, yes, Skype. Sorry I put it off for so long. This mama just has one heck of a long to-do list. We should be all set now ;-)

"...and have been instead focusing my time on organizing myself electronically; exploring the best ways to implement and integrate Flickr, Wordpress, Thesis, Twitter and all that funky new age technology jazz."

So great to see that things are progressing for you. I am always a little inspired by your posts. For me, I just began "The Artist's Way" and am hoping to reawaken my creative spirit...hopefully it leads me back to my true self.

great update!!! eagerly anticipating news about your new collaboration!

as for me...lately i have been (very softly) exploring the possibility of creating a cottage school/home learning enrichment program and reaching out to the homeschool community around us to see what's already available.

reading your first "our good life" post triggered some slightly uncomfortable feelings in me...i guess jealousy would be the best descriptor...and made me realize i really needed to revisit our education plans.

my husband and i have been talking a lot about it and we've now opened our hearts and minds to (at least) three really exciting options that we are going to be gently exploring this year while the kids continue at their fabulous nature-inspired nursery school!

so thank you for leading and inspiring just by being authentically you!!!!
