everything sounds so good mama! I love, love, LOVE that that last picture….the belly, the facial expressions…all priceless. And I think you’ve got the whole third born thing figured out;)

Excited to read all that will unfold here this month. Have you heard of the Center for the New American Dream? We used their templates for simplifying the holidays with our Alternative Gift Fair. lots of good stuff related to kids and commercialism there too!

Have you heard of Anita Renfroe? My grandmother made me watch her standup. She does the Momsense song, which I didn’t particularly like. But she did another one that made me laugh…it describes my oldest brother, my middle-child sister and me, the baby pretty well….as kids at least. What you said reminded me of it… ;)

“My theory is that with the first child, there’s not much room in the womb, so he has to fight for every centimeter. That makes firstborns overachievers in life. When the second one gets in there, there’s a little more room, so he can tell that someone’s been in there before him and he doesn’t think that’s fair. That frames his mind-set from there on out. By the third one, the womb’s all stretched out, and that’s why the youngest ones are the most relaxed—because they’ve got this big addition.”

We just celebrated Imbolc by planting the seeds of an organic apple into a pot and declaring it our “Family Tree.” Very cool!
