…of the year.
Well, I think so anyways. I’m really happy we came to New England for the long weekend because to my surprise the foliage is much sharper here. Everything feels very warm and comfortable and seeing that both my boys were born here, it feels appropriate to celebrate in the same space they entered this world.
We spent the afternoon playing around Stone’s parents backyard. It’s where he spent most of his childhood and we spent many an evenings sneaking out to the backyard to look at the stars and make out a bit when we were in high school. It’s crazy to revisit a place with so many memories and have your little kidlets running around and making their own childhood memories.
My brother stopped by and played a few chipping games while Koala begged everyone to ride him around on Papa’s bike.
Tomorrow my parents are taking us to the Topsfield Fair. We’re going to see the Jeff Corwin animal show, see some giant vegetables and I am very curious to check out their Green Expo because they claim the Fair went green this year. It’s going to be crazy, but fun and I’m planning on getting some great pictures.
Hope everyone enjoys their weekend!

This looks and sounds soo wholesome, love the autmnal feeling about it too. The light in autumn is gorgeous, and foliage is very beautiful in that time of year. Things are warming up down here – yay!
Way cool. Glad to hear you are having so much fun! It is beautiful around here, ain’t it? We’re heading to Topsfield on Monday after my honey gets back from his work trip.
Z, you are so lucky you get to go on a Monday. It was great, but very crazy and crowded.
