Hello Friends.
I’ve been m.i.a. this week. Stone’s parents have been visiting his sister in Cali and on their cross-country drive home they swung by our neck of the woods to share some good family loving with us. We are blessed to have wonderful family and both the boys were very happy to see their long lost meme and papa.
They are on their way back home and we are back into the flow of our lives. It was a great mini-vacation filled with dinners out, late night scrabble tournaments, an impromptu hike and of course ice cream. My favorite moment was walking downtown and Koala choosing Papa to take his nap. Is there anything sweeter than a papa wearing a baby?
Meme gifted Solshine a fly pair of sunglasses (which he has been scheming on for quite some time) and this child thought he was just unstoppable.
I also want to extend a warm welcome to all the readers who found themselves hear via Erin Goodman’s blog ‘Exhale. Return to Center‘. I wrote a guest piece for her and am excited to participate in her community and journey because she has been a real inspiration to me. I first met her a few years ago on an online mothering forum where we were exploring and supporting each other in creating careers and following dreams all while having young children to nurture. (I know….is that even possible?) I first heard Erin’s dreams of getting published, traveling for book signings and leading workshops back when they were….well, dreams. I’ve now had the inspirational honor of celebrating her dreams realized as she shares it on her blog. Congratulations on all your recent successes Erin and welcome new friends.
