I’ve blogged a bit about my friend Gretel because, well, she’s fabulous. She’s my neighbor, has two young boys and has that magical, creative feel about her. So of course, she would design a birthday celebration for herself that was actually a gift to the 13 mamas in attendance. We danced the night away in an old school barn, led by a friend guiding us through the 5 Rhythms Dance. It was a gift to have all of us there sans children. Time to connect without interruption, drink a little wine, indulge in chocolate and celebrate! It made my ordinary week night into something really special.
Oh and check out the vintage camper that showed up as a surprise gift from Gretel’s sweet hubby!
Being relatively new in this community, I’ve had to keep reminding myself the value of patience this past year or so. Friendships are created with time and I’m beginning to make some deeper connections which warms my soul. It’s especially important for me to find a community within the sisterhood. There is just so much wisdom and so much healing that happens when gathered in circle with wise women. I am so thankful to find myself here once again.
